This is a monster piece of Tanzanian Zircon

While too dark in the rough, after heat treatment this will lighten to a burnt orange or yellow colour. A great choice for Autumn jewellery. It is hard to judge the clarity of such a large dark piece, but using a fiber optic light no major fractures or inclusions can be discerned.
